The Coffee Price and Moving

Over the past thirteen months the price of green coffee has more than doubled. The causes are predominantly supply side. Droughts in Brasil and Vietnam have had a significant impact. I have been in the industry for most of the past thirty years and have not witnessed somethng approaching the past year. Consequently, we have had an increase in the price of our coffee. The incease represents around 60 percent of the actual increase so we are hoping for some stabalisation in coffee prices.

We firmly believe Seventh Wave Coffee still offers excellent value (fine quality at a very reasonable price) and hope you understand our need to increase our price.

On another note, we will be leaving our Redfern home at the end of April. We will

be opening a new Roastery and retail bar. More to come. We are also updating our website to be more customer friendly, with easier navigation and subscription options. And more detail on how to get the best from our coffee and tea.
